New Yorkers: When it’s raining outside, one of the most romantic things to do with your significant other is snuggle up on the coach under a blanket with a big bucket of popcorn and watch a movie in the dark. What are some good choices to add to your Netflix queue?

Back to the Future
it’s got everything — action, comedy, romance, a great story from start to finish, and tons of 80s references.
Last Tango in Paris
(if you want to get it on afterwards)
funny face. girly but fred astaire and the inimitable audrey hepburn make this worth it.
The Dentist (inside joke)
Kim, ha.

Some more:
Thomas Crown Affair
Love Actually
Finding Nemo!
The Office TV Series (American Version)
I think there are two camps here too. If you are in the early stages of a really hot relationship, any old boring movie will do. I remember trips to he video store where I would try to avoid the “good” interesting movies because I knew a flop would get turned off in 30 minutes, and we would be like “what now? let’s make out.”
If you are in a relationship where the heat isn’t always on, you might actually need a steamy movie to help it out a bit. One thing that helps is to know what leading men/women turn your partner on. Don’t be jealous about it or make it an issue. But seeing them on the screen will get them in the mood. They may be dreaming about Brad Pitt or whoever at night, but at least you get the benefit of actually being able to share a real moment of passion with your special someone.
Good luck.
Gotta go with tried and true Casablanca
