As a man I find this extremely disturbing to read. Where CAN we hit on you.. Why do us men have to be demonized just for wanting female companionship. Why do you assume that all we want is sex? Isn’t sex part of a loving relationship and marriage anyway?? I wonder is your mother met your father in one of these places. What if she followed advice like this and told him to “F*%# off”. Why do some women have a hard time accepting that most men have feelings and desires other than lust and stereotype us this way. Especially when our culture leaves men with the responsibility to initiate things.

Your number one is total BS and youre giving false info to your readers. Although I admit some women are just annoyed at being hit on no matter where they are. But I have personally got more dates from hitting on women in stores than at night clubs. I have had much more luck. I have not noticed that women are annoyed by me approaching them. In fact most of them are very friendly, even the ones who choose not to give me their number. Therefore you are giving very bad information to men. Its real easy for you to sit here and type this BS but you have NO idea how hard it is to be on the other side of the gender train. Where are we supposed to meet women? bars and clubs are filled with the worst women of them all. A store or other public place is the perfect place to meet a very normal nice girl. Be careful of married women though, look for rings right off the bat. Not that married women dont ever mess around, because in my expirence, they do. Dont believe everything you read on the internet fellas, especially written by stupid snobby b%tches.

Well, let me add one from a male’s perspective then.

Night Clubs: If you’re smiling and eyeing me off from across the bar or on the dance floor, that doesn’t make me want to come over and say hi. That makes me think you’ve already slept with every other guy in the club and god knows how many diseases you’ve caught along the way.

So congratulations. Between you and I we’ve covered every single location where males and females congregate!
Have fun in your life of bitter loneliness. Get a few cats, I hear that helps. Just don’t blog that you can’t meet Mr. Right, because he probably smiled to you from the fruit aisle just before you rolled your eyes and flipped him the bird.

Perhaps that is true for you but if that was true for all women there would be no procreation without a bar. I’m not one to fancy a bar myself…
I say that casual flirting just about anywhere is appropriate as long as you know to stop if she’s giving you a signal to stop. Men should take risks now and then but know how to play the game.
I’m sorry, by the way, that you never think that you look good.

My idea is this: “hit on” women with a sense of self-confidence to have better luck.
