Cool music venue on East Houston, no pretense whatsoever. Recommended for a date if he's into new music written by people he's probably never heard of! But seriously...Great live music all the time but be prepared for long waits outside and for the bands. Drinks are cheap, speakers are at a reasonable volume so you can talk to your date during the performance, and the best thing is, when they sell out, it's not packed like sardines.
