Review
This place truly has all the makings for a wonderful night out with your sweetheart. Let's start off with the music itself -- face it, jazz just gets you in the mood. The sultry melodies, exotic harmonies, and breathy instrumental timbres are hard to resist. The venue also boasts one of the best views New York City has to offer. Perched atop the Time Warner Center, the only thing separating you from Central Park's sprawling tree lines is a thin glass window that looks like it's just been washed. The cuisine is nothing to sneeze at either. Keeping with jazz's southern roots, the menu features such delectable dishes as crawfish beignets, mac n' cheese casserole, and blueberry crisp. Not keeping with jazz's southern roots, the prices for these dishes could rival the club's next door neighbors, Masa and Per Se.

An Insider Tip: If you don't need to get up early, we most definitely suggest going to the After Hours set (11pm). For starters, tickets are about 75% less expensive, so you can afford the aforementioned cuisine, but more importantly, you'll also get the opportunity to see jazz's rising stars, who are usually the featured acts in the late night. So even if you're a jazz novice, you can still impress your date and sound like an expert by saying, "I've never heard these guys before but they're supposed to be incredible." We won't tell.

Do we hook you up or what?
