[…] location search engine with a focus on dating. If you live in New York City, check it out. If not, complain and get them to expand to your city. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 by Jason Add to del.icio.us | Digg this story | Filed under: […]

Portland, OR guys. The people here will be all over this website like nothing else!

Apologies in advance for the plugs and whatnot:
If you haven’t taken a trip to Portland, do so. Small city, GREAT culture. A weird but great blend between Seattle and San Fransisco. Great microbreweries, and the city is about 2 hours from anywhere you want to be - the coast, the mountains (skiing, boarding, hiking/camping), adjacent to the Columbia River Gorge (windsurfing or hiking)… Plus great music scenes, jazz festivals etc.

Uh, apologies again for the long post and whatnot but it’s just such a great city [for dating]!!

    Oh oh, last thought:
Allow a “beta” period for users to add their own cities and basic info about/dating places in them…

You can cut it off later and require everything to go through an approval process. Kinda like a temporary Wiki while the site’s still “young”?

This site’s main page probably says it better than anyone else.

It’s not a city, but you gotta add Jersey. Maybe North and South separately.

C’mon guys, it’s been almost a year and you still don’t have *any* other cities yet?

Just open this up to the readers to create!
Make a “sandbox” where people can add their own cities and info about them!

If it bombs, you can always cut it off later.
